After two great films Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om Farah Khan is ready with his next venture instructor Tees maar Khan, starring Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Akshay Khanna in lead roles. One of the highlights of the film is a special dance number filmed on Akshay, Katrina and Salman Khan (in special appearance). Location, Film City, recently lashed with activity and excitement when it witnessed the presence of ex-flame Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.
The song was recently shot in Mumbai’s Film City and it looks like it has all left a chart buster. This is a special dance number called “wallah Re wallah”. There is a full-on qawalli located in a typical Muslim mohalla although I have also taken a number of Moroccan elements. In the first script had this song, to be put in a club but when Salman agreed to do the song, I thought of changing the setting.
Salman, Akshay and Katrina are all set in typical Muslim dress, and we had a blast shooting for the song. The couple was quite friendly to each other and had fun while shooting the song. While Salman and Akki were dressed in colorful jackets, scarves and hats made Kat a rather sober picture, considering she plays a girl element in the film.
