After the release of Dabangg Sonakshi Sinha career seems to have sky-fired. First, the good looking actor bagged Joker opposite Akshay Kumar and now she has also been carried out for the 2 Race directed by Abbas-Mustan and produced by Ramesh Taurani (Tip), stars big names like Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. Confirming the same, says producer Ramesh Taurani, “Yes, we have completed Sonakshi with Deepika for the lead female role, and are now looking for another actor to play the role of the female character.”
Sonakshi is ready to take on new roles and told the Hindustan Times, “Oh yeah, there’s more to me than decent ‘Gaon ki sehmi-sehmi‘ Rajjo in Dabangg.” In Shirish Customer’s Hindi remake of Tamil flick kick; Sonakshi will once again star opposite Salman Khan. Customers and Shirish’s 3D movie Joker, she will work with Akshay Kumar. Priyanka Chopra was also seen as part and Bollywood belle sure makes the perfect candidate to join the cast of the Race 2.
It was first reported that Priyanka was very pleased to receive this offer, and tried to find dates to work with the film.
