“LALBAUGCHA Raja (The Emperor of Lalbaug)” is the name of the popular Ganesh Idol of “LALBAUGCHA Raja SARVAJANIK GANESHOTSAV Mandal”. Preparations for Ganeshotsav 2011 is already underway since June 2011. In order to offer appropriate Darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja to his followers appropriate action is being done by the Mandal. Mandal trying to take all necessary precautions so that no inconvenience caused by the fans.
Approximately 2500 people have been designated as “Saha KARI SABHASAD” (Special volunteers) to help Mandal in managing Ganeshotsav. Along with them is a team of about 5,000 other volunteers also ready to help the believers. A special “Disaster Management Training” is communicated to some volunteers to handle any unforeseen disaster.
