Actor John Abraham will appeal the ruling within 15 days of imprisonment awarded to him by a local court. The actor feels he has all chances to get a relief by sending this complaint. It may be mentioned here that the Bandra court on Thursday gave the actor is guilty of a criminal act of rash driving and sentenced him to 15 days simple imprisonment.
The actor was fined Rs 1,500 for causing an accident and injured two men when the motorcycle hit a bicyclist late night at Khar Danda Road four years ago, in April 2006. Four years after he was accused of rash driving and causing injury was Bollywood actor John Abraham Thursday sentenced to 15 days in jail by a single town court. He was returning from a modeling talent show, and the accident happened near the junction of the CD Marg Khar and 17th Road.
Abraham was present with his attorney Robin Periera in court today, and nodded when the court handed down the verdict. “Your move was humane and friendly that you immediately took both victims to the hospital.” After he moved to bail, he was granted bail against a surety of Rs 1500. Abraham was also ordered to pay a fine of Rs 1000 to Majhi. You may recall that John had kissed fighter in his appearance on the show with composer AR Rahman, to promote his new film Jhootha Hi Sahi, in last month.
