Telengana election declared today on 30 july2010.The elections are said to be an important phase for Telangana regions, as it is thefirst time that the voice for a separate state has been louder than ever.Congress Committee President D.Srinivas, former state ministerShabbir Ali, former MP Indrakaran Reddy are in fray along with others. However not everything seems to be going their way even inthis by-elections.For Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Harish Rao, K.Tarakarama Rao, and Eetela Rajender are in competition and itlikely that unlike Congress prime members, they are going to score a win.
The results for seven constituencies, where the elections were held by Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), are expected to beannounced by noon. In the remaining five places, where the elections were conducted by Ballot Papers, results are expected by tonight.
