The national tests Bureau of University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi, has invited applications for the National Right Test, popularly known as NET, to be held in December 2010. Last UGC-NET was conducted on 27 June 2010. The UGC NET implements to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for a lecturer in Indian universities and colleges.
Date of Exam: December 26, 2010
Note: The test will consist of three papers. All the three papers will be held the above mentioned date, in two separate sessions mentioned below:
- First – I 1 1/4 Hours (9.30 am to 10.45 am)
- First – II 1 1/4 Hours (10.45 am to 12.00 noon
- Second – III 2 1/2 Hours (1.30 pm to 4.00 pm)

How to Apply:
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting UGC official website: http://www.ugc.ac.in/ or www.ugcnetonline.in. Applicants must download the Bank Challans Performa from the UGC’s website above or take a photocopy of the UGC-NET Review published in Employment News. Then applicants to set the required test fee in any branch of State Bank of India along with the fees (commissions) of Rs 20. Candidate must have been scanned passport (pp) size photograph in JPEG format should be less than 300kb and copy of Bank Challans (tax receipt) before you apply online.
A Following the successful submission of online application form, candidates should take a printout of the electronic application form (two copies), Participation Release (a copy) and record (one copy) on their own A-4 format. So, two copies of a printout of the online application, you should copy the Participation Release and a copy Passes) together with the necessary documentation lodged with the Registrar of the University (UGC Test Centre). Note: Candidates must write the National Court UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for the presenter, December, 2010 on top of the envelope with the application form. The candidates must affix in their recent identical passport photos to specific locations on the printed Online Application Form and must sign across the image when it is positioned so that part of the signature spreads over the Application Form outside the picture. Moreover, it should be duly certified by the Director of the University Department / Principal of College / Class I, published in the Official Officer.
