World Cup 2011 Australia Team Squad | Australian Squad World Cup 2011

Australia has announced the World Cup squad for the World Cup in 2011. Ricky Ponting will remain captain of the Australian team. Hussey brothers are also included in the 15 men’s World Cup squad. Brett Lee and Shaun Tait also have been secured their place in the World Cup squad. The Chairman of selectors, Andrew Hilditch said that the selected team is the best to defend the World Cup. He also said that the injured players, Ponting and Hussey to come soon to be available for the ICC World Cup in 2011.

Ricky Ponting will remain captain and Michael Clarke as vice captain of the Australian team for the mega event. Spinners Nathan Hauritz and Steve Smith and wicket-keeper Tim Paine was included in the squad. The squad includes 9 batsmen, 2 Spinners and 4 fast Bowling. The remaining 13 men will be available in six games against England. Tait and Lee also back from injury and Lee also bowled well in the first ODI. Australia will play its first match against Zimbabwe 21 February. Australia hat-tick in order to win the World Cup.
