Audi India is ready to launch its flagship sedan, 10 January. Audi will launch the long-wheelbase version to take the Mercedes S-Class, BMW 7-Series and Jaguar XJ. A8 will be launched in both petrol and diesel variants.
The new sedan will make people jealous because of her looks, technology and features. Audi A8 from the German auto giant’s pavilion is a statement in the premium luxury segment. Audi A8 exterior shows that the brand value of what it is known for. Audi A8 is designed to perfection out of the hands of the maker. The new body frame of the Audi A8 is made of aluminum, which gives great strength and makes for a light car.
In all models, the Audi A8 is expected to be equipped with advanced technology with the capability of both gasoline and diesel propulsion system. Audi A8 diesel engine will come with a 3.0 V6 TDI mill, taken from Audi A4, Audi Q5 and Audi A6, which gives maximum power of 240 bhp. Gas model is speculated to be decorated with 4.2 DOHC V8 FSI. A8 will be priced between 75-90 lakh. The new car will be equipped with ZF eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift and get the Quattro all-wheel drive as standard.
