Hammacher Schlemmer has introduced the world’s smallest camera that is small enough to fit on your fingertip. The miniature video camera is small NOK to rest on a finger, that measures 1.125 inches long, 1 cm wide and 1.062 inches deep.
The device, available for £ 64, measures 25 mm square and weighs 26 grams. The camera is able to record videos and photos as well and comes with a strap that can be used to wrap the camera around a wrist or fingers.
The company reported that the device was able to click 2MP images with a resolution of 1600×1200, and also do 30 frames per second video in AVI format.
There is a real camera itself. It takes 1600 x1, 200 JPEG stills and 640×480 30 fps AVI video, as the store on a microSD card. It comes with a 2 GB card. It also includes a USB cable so you can see photos and video on a Windows computer. Camera battery lasts 30 minutes and charges in one hour via USB cable.The super tiny Digital Spy DC DV, which is available on Brando, also trumps the “World’s smallest camera” with a volume of 1,102 cubic inches.
Some spy cameras, sold by SpyVille is even smaller, they must be connected to an external battery.
“Although the world’s smallest camera is only slightly larger than a marble, it takes still pictures and video, and much larger cameras,” says Hammacher Schlemmer’s general manager, Fred Berns said in a statement.
“It is a remarkable piece of kit, and is expected to be very popular with the public. It comes with a wrist lanyard to keep it on hand and allows for easier transportation.” He added.
