Mini Opera – The Mobile web One Billion page views in june

Opera has recently released its State of the Mobile Web report in June showed a decline for the first time in all three categories of growth – unique visitors, pages viewed and the data used. Around 2008 reported Opera Mini users who have visited 100 million pages per day.

However, Opera 59.4M users in June 2010 – a 3.2% decline from May, but an increase of 124.7% since June 2009. Opera users viewed more than 27.3 billion pages in June, down 3.4% since May, but an increase of 161.8% since June 2009. With regard to the consumption data generated users over 416 million MB of data for operators worldwide. Since May, there was consumed data down by 4%, but up 147.1% since June 2009.

“Every day is different in the rapidly growing mobile Internet. Every day more people around the world select Opera Mini and see more pages using this browser,” says Jon von Tetzchner, co-founder, Opera Software. “Crossing billion page impressions one day is further proof that people want the best Internet experience, regardless of where they live or what device they use. ”
